NEWS: Gay Adoption Rates Triple!
According to the US Census, gay adoptions have increased hugely within the last decade, despite many existing discriminatory laws.
In 2009, about 21,740 same-sex couples adopted children, compared to the 6,477 couples in 2000. And, 32,571 adopted children live with same-sex couples, increasing from 8,310 in 2000.
